Okay, maybe not.
I (Candace) could tell you the whole story, but I feel like the book Nate created for me tells it so much better. To those of you who haven’t heard the story a dozen times (and to those of you who have, welcome to the Baker’s Dozen!), the book is a critical part of Nate’s proposal. It all happened just a few days after Christmas, when I took my family to the ICE! exhibit at Gaylord Palms in Orlando. Toward the end of the night, Nate told me he had a belated Christmas gift for me. I was a little thrown off — I mean, he gave me an ipad for Christmas; what more could a girl want? — but I eagerly unwrapped it. It’s the best gift I’ve ever gotten, and the best decision I’ve ever made. Thank you, Nate.
Here’s a copy of the book:
